Man, life is so hard. Sometimes I sit back and think, "what if...?" I have many what if's in my life, but then I remember that God does everything for a reason. But why does life have to be so hard? All the heartaches and pains. What's the point of it all? I know God is testing us, but do the tests get any easier? Probably not...that's my luck. I mean I know other people probably...no..do have it harder than me, but I guess I'm asking for their sake, too.
God made man and woman to love and help each other. So why is it that love can hurt so bad? There's a thin line between love and hate. They are both very powerful feelings, but when you either loose a loved one to death/breakup or a move, it hurts your heart so bad. Love can be the most wonderful experience but it can also crush your heart like a ton of bricks, or a concrete slab, better yet!
Mothers protect their children from almost everything. How do you keep them from getting their heart ripped to pieces? I know our children must learn on their own, to grow into an adult that knows how to deal with emotions like these. But you don't wanna see your child hurt. It's hard being a mom...a parent. You cannot protect them from everything or shade them from the world that'll eat you up if you let it.
So when it comes to love, if you've already been hurt by love, do you or should you give it another shot? Or does it just hurt too bad? Are you afraid to go through everything all over again? Or do you give love another shot? Do you risk your heart getting crushed, well maybe getting crushed? Or do you play it safe and only sit on the side lines and watch other love birds? Do you choose to become friends instead of lovers? To choose to never get into that romantic situation again so that you won't have that possibility of getting hurt? What to do...what to do...
Life is full of relationships. You have relationships with all kinds of people, like your local banker, flowershop owner, your neighbors. But one of the most important relationships you will ever have in your life is your God, your mate and your children's. A relationship can be great-if with the right person...but it can hurt you inside also. A relationship can put such a strain on you at times, too.
Now all you have to do is weigh out the pros and the cons and decide if it is right for you or if you have been just too hurt in the past. Time heals all wounds and love can heal them even more.
